Experience design for a 14.8 m² space that connects physical and digital touchpoints to help each user discover their ideal coffee.

Brief

Don Salazar was in the process of opening its fourth store in Lima. They approached us to create a brand experience that connects users across different touchpoints, helping their audience find their ideal coffee.

Challenge

Given the limited space, the touchpoints needed to be designed to connect functionally and emotionally, creating an engaging and integrated flow that culminates in the product purchase and the experience of its preparation.

 

Solutions

  • The first area, sensory in nature, allows users to explore different types of specialty coffee and select one to continue the experience.
  • The second and third areas combine physical and digital elements: brewing methods, tools, and coffee varieties are displayed alongside an interactive screen that enables product purchase in three simple steps.
  • Modular bar: Users can observe the live preparation of their coffee, with the products also available for purchase.
  • Community panel: It spans the entire wall and is designed to provide accessible, informative, and approachable communication with the audience.

Outcome

This solution generated an efficient flow that boosted conversion, enabling exploration, selection, and purchase of the product in just a few steps. Additionally, the implemented format proved to be scalable and replicable, laying the groundwork for future brand activations across new points of sale or commercial formats.
